What To Wear During a Boudoir Shoot

Ladies, 

A lot of my clients want to book a shoot but they are overwhelmed by what to wear and where to shop. The best thing about booking a shoot with us is that we will help you choose the right outfits for you.

-CHOOSE muted/matte/primary/pastel colors. Red, black and white always look good. Preferably avoid neon colors. 

Bra and Panty Set

-Bring at least one bra (with good support) and panty set. A beautiful set with matching bra and panty is a classic for a Boudoir shoot. With this combo, it is important to make sure that the panties and bra are not too tight and cutting into your skin. You can get creative with colors and pick your favorite ones. Black, red and white are some of the top choices picked by most clients.

– If you are self conscious about your middle, bring at least one corset or bodysuit. Shapewear is PERFECT also. Fitted things will actually be more flattering! We want to show your curves! Bodysuits are a client favorite! Bodysuits look stunning on everybody and can vary from casual to sexy. Here are some examples of bodysuits:

– When choosing corsets, stick with corsets with a sweetheart neckline. When corsets are straight in the bust area it will flatten your girls instead of flattering them! Corsets are tight around the waist and create a beautiful hour glass figure. They are a great choice if you want to highlight your curves.

-Shapewear is often over looked, but it is a GREAT option! It is SUPER flattering and looks incredible in images!

Robes

– Lace and layers look great. Intricate lingerie photographs beautifully! Robes are a must for every session. Combined with a beautiful bra and panty set or bodysuit this is a client favorite.

– Remember thigh highs and a garter belt. Thigh-high stockings are a beautiful addition to a bra and panty
set or corset. Black and white thigh-high stockings look amazing in photos. Your thigh-highs should be the same color as your lingerie outfit. All stockings should be worn with closed toed heels. 

-I always recommend bringing at least one button-up shirt or loose shirt that can be worn off the shoulder.

   

Black Heels

Bring BLACK heels. The right heel can lengthen and slim your legs! Pumps or knee-high boots are perfect for a boudoir shoot. A higher heel works best, as they lengthen your legs and give your feet a gorgeous arch and pointed
